This game is really good. I think its score is much lower than the it should be, as it does what a game should. It's fun but it's not hard. It's a great timewaster, and one where you shoot to bbeat your old score. The only thing I can think of that I dont think has been mentioned is an aiming system. ALso some people have suggested things like weapon pick up and other things that I think are great idea. Overall a great game.

overall the game was fun. the graphics were subtle but i thought they were pretty cool. the one thing that affected this score was that none of the buttons worked when you died.

Even though i didn't make anything for this collab I found myself checking the thread everyday anticipating the release. I thought the quality of animation was really good. The best part was probably the choice of music by everybody, because I thought it really helped the theme of the collab. The menu and games were really nice, although a scene select would have been awesome. A lot of great artists were on this and I think it turned out overall awesome. Great job.

as far as I know this is your first flash so there is some stuff wrong. The back buttons didn't work. it wasn't as much of a guide as it was a lot of pictures. For example, a guide of levels would be explaining experience, voting, etc. but this just showed some pictures. The bak button didn't work and I found myself constantly going to the preloader just to view the flash. These are just some points that people have pointed out already. Sorry to reiterate. Also, the text was extremely hard to read on the awards page and some of the description were sketchy at best.
However, on a good point, the awards page, whistle page, and staff page are guides. The music played, although it didn't loop. And the buttons on the menu worked. overall the flash was much below average, but a few fixed glitches, some added info, and some organization could really sky rocket your score.

i'll give you little slack. The animation was ok, and i chuckled at the end joke. Using a picture as a background is ok, but try to draw main characters (nazi giving speech, Jesus) instead of using a picture. This will probably help you to make smoother animation than this (eg the arm leaving it's sockets). Not to bad, but you could definently do better.

this is a good tutorial. What it lacks in range is made up for by the depth and explanations. This is a one of a kind tutorial that explains how to take the next step in basics. This is teaching stuff that really makes a flash front page material.

I liked the background music, and the AI was very difficult which definently kept me playing longer than if the game were easier. I have a few very specific and picky suggestions that could skyrocket this from another pong knock-off to its own game on its own.
1) This is optional- Difficulty- Giving the user a choice of difficulty really gives them a sense of control and accomplishment if they beat it on hard, instead of just beating it. Then, they could challenge their friends, giving you more plays, and hopfully more ratings.
2) Changeable background- The black gets boring. If a user/player can change the background, he will feel more comfortable, and he will keep playing on ever different setting.
3) Power-ups- In order to have a truly unique pong game, you really need to have power-ups. With power-ups comes a different playing every single time that preloader is done.
Overall a good game, and it really stands out from other pong games. One of your better flashes. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Thanks! Always appreciate a decent constructive list of what I could have done better. To be honest, I felt that considering the title was "Retro Pong", I would animate it in the style of the original game. But if I ever make my own version I will definitely take your advice!

this was a good game. maybe a little more musical background sound would have been nice, but that's being picky. You should add cutscenes. maybe have that guys family killed by a pet ferby gone wrong. plus, more levels would have been fun. different weapons for the ferbys would have increased the difficulty too. maybe a shop for different weapons or upgrades on different levels. plus, the boss. it was only a bigger ferby. that first "level" before you go into the pipe was begging for a boss. with all the different platforms and the huge area. all in all it was good. there could have been a lot more enemies and depth. i would really love to see another improved game of this.

i love this.you really learn to like the characters because you see a personality. It wasn't short, but it didn't seem monotonous either. I really loved it. The art was amazing. It was detailed and the backgrounds were awesome. The animation was smooth, the plot was easy to follow and easy to watch. Please get someone to program (or you can do it). this would be an awesome game.

hilarious. This was awesome as usual. I remember seeing this easter egg. I'm so glad you submitted this to newgrounds. This is my favorite Egoraptor movie. IT's so insane and hilarious. Both of the characters were awesome. Perfect. Screw the people that said you went overboard. That's why it's funny.
